Sitting in the sand

Endless blue sky over my head

A million tiny crystals of rock, so fine that the gypsy breeze sprays and scatters them over me with every dancing gust

Until my skin appears frosted with the varied gems

The water rushing on and on again

Problems seem smaller when the horizion is endless

Happy spring! I fear that I have been neglecting blog... But hopefully I will do better.

I'm gazing out my front door, at the brilliant blue sky, softened by misty clouds around the horizon, golden sunshine and the new green... you know that color? The color of green that only comes in spring time, its like new life green. A very inspiring time of year, I'm going to work on writing new songs this week.

I had a wonderful reminder today, as I was reading through an e-mail, that you must never allow another person to be in charge of your destiny, don't let your circumstances and other people tell you who you are. Don't look to other people to "make" you. Recognize your uniqueness. No one else can live your life.

 There's nothing more wonderful in life than laughing with the ones  you love. it's always so fun watching the little ones opening their presents.

This year has brought so many changes... I can't wait to see what the next year holds, for us all.

After listening to my own very soothing music for many times the last few days as I was mixing it, I'm listening to some more "rocky" B. Reith and Owl City music.
